Rayna was born and raised in Shenzhen, China. She received an MPhil in Asian and Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Cambridge and dual BAs in English and Digital Media with a minor in Anthropology from the University of Rochester. At the UCSF Memory and Aging Center, she focuses on the ENHANCE project to support coordination for a study on linguistic and cultural adaptations of the NACC UDS 4.0 in Chinese-speaking populations.
