Katie was born in Taiwan. She is a registered nurse with several years of experience in the Emergency Department and Anesthesiology Unit in Taiwan. She earned her Master’s degree in Global Health Sciences from UCSF in 2025. At the Tee Lab, she works on the Asian Cohort for Alzheimer’s Disease (ACAD) project, coordinating with Chinese-speaking communities to better understand how lifestyle and genetic factors influence the risk of Alzheimer's disease.
